Polythene Packaging

Polythene products cover many packaging applications, from load stability, collating goods to simply protection.  Over 90% of products in the range are not only 100% recyclable, but also contain more than 30% recycled content.  

Clear Polythene Bags

Clear polythene bags are ideal for products that the packer wishes to remain seen.  They are also a very cost-effective option for collating or separating items.
They are widely available from stock from 4x6” up to 36 x 48” and all sizes in between, in all grades.
Available from stock in three grades – light, medium and heavy duty, depending on the application.  Light grade bags are between 80 – 120g (like a bin bag), medium between 190 – 250g and heavy between 390 – 500g (like a rubble sack).
Polythene bags are 100% recyclable, and all of our range contains more than 30% recycled content.  They are also available in bio-degradable grade from stock.
The bags can be customised, either to your own exact size or with your custom print.  Optional extras include wicket holes (so you can put them on a rack), self-seal strip and food grade.

Centrefold Sheeting

Centrefold sheeting is supplied on a roll that consists of a large sheet of plastic that is folded in half along the centre, forming a long, narrow tube with an opening on one end. Centrefold sheeting is often used to wrap furniture and large appliances such as domestic appliances or large, bulky items. This kind of sheeting can also be used to cover floors and surfaces during renovation or construction work to protect them from debris, dust or spills.

Shrink Film

Shrink Films work for a range of applications, mostly where the packing operator is looking to reduce movement and prevent from scratching whilst keeping the product visible.
The film is available in centrefold sheet form from 1m to 4m, ready formatted as a pallet cover for standard or euro pallets or in small format for use in shrink chambers.
Centrefold sheet shrink can be wrapped over large pallets or items and applied by a Heat Shrink Gun.  Its available in medium duty (90 - 120mu) or heavy duty (190 - 250mu) grades depending on the application.
You can also purchase shrink film ready formed as a pallet cover.  This is a hood, available for both standard and euro sized pallets – once a heat shrink gun is applied the cover wraps tightly around the product and the pallet for maximum security and transparency.
Centrefold and pallet cover heat shrink is 100% recyclable, and the product is made using more than 30% recycled content.
Polyolefin shrink is used for smaller items, especially where a batch of items needs to be collated together.  It comes on a reel and is available in sizes from 200/500 up to 750/1500mm.  Very high clarity and retracts 40%, ensuring product security.
All forms of heat shrink can be made to bespoke sizes or for special applications.

Top Sheets

Top sheets provide protection from dust and moisture for pallets during transport.  Supplied on a roll with perforations, the sheets are set to fit standard or euro pallets.  Available from stock in clear, black and in anti-static format.  Standard grades are 100 – 130g with a light duty option in 60g also available.

Food Grade Liners

Often referred to as ‘Dolav’, ‘Tray’ or ‘Tub’ liners, these blue plastic sheets are used to protect contents and prevent leakages.  They can be used for fresh or frozen goods and are suitable for content with food.
Liners can also be made to specific sizes for specific applications.

Lay Flat Tubing

This plastic product cuts down on waste by creating a bag to the perfect size for products quickly and effectively.  Especially useful in applications where the size of the product packed varies.
Lay Flat Tubing is a flat packed open ended plastic, supplied on a roll.  A heat sealer is used either to create a divide, or seal and cut off the plastic wherever the operator wishes to.  It replaces the need for several different sizes of clear polythene bag.
Its 100% recyclable and contains more than 30% recycled plastic in its manufacture.
Available in light duty (90 – 120g), medium duty (190 – 250g) or heavy duty (390 – 500g) and in sizes from 2” up to 50”.

Grip Seal Bags

High clarity sealable bags available from 1.5” to 20”.  Grip Seal’s are clear polythene bags with a easy open / close seal across the top.  Ideal for faster packing and presentation.
Both plain and write-on options are available from stock.  The write-on version has two white strips that can be marked easily.
Grip Seal bags can be made to bespoke sizes.

Woven Sacks

White, tough, multi-purpose woven polypropylene sacks, for heavy duty applications where products are very heavy or abrasive.  Available from 9x12” up to 20x30” from stock.
